The Baltic Sea2Land project1 solution Sea2Land Navigator platform is designed to support sustainable coastal planning. This MOOC course complies with the principles of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Use of Content

All content including videos, presentations and documents are protected by copyright. Users may not copy, distribute, modify, or sell the content without prior written permission. Content may be licensed under Creative Commons or other applicable licenses as specified.

User Responsibilities

Users must provide accurate information and refrain from distributing harmful or unlawful content. Users must respect the rights of others and not infringe on intellectual property or privacy.

The project team is not liable for any misinterpretation or misuse of the content.

Purpose of Data Processing

User data is collected and processed in order to:

  • provide access to course content,
  • track user progress,
  • improve the learning experience,
  • analyse platform usage for statistical purposes.

Types of Data Processed

The platform may process the following personal data:

  • full name,
  • email address,
  • IP address,
  • course attendance and progress data.

Data Storage and Security

Data is stored on secure servers & technical and organizational measures are in place to protect data against unauthorized access, disclosure or destruction.

User Rights under GDPR

In accordance with GDPR, users have the right to:

  • access their personal data,
  • correct inaccurate data,
  • request deletion of their data,
  • restrict data processing,
  • withdraw consent at any time.

Consent

Consent for data processing is obtained when the user registers on the platform or begins the course. By doing so, the user confirms they have read and accepted these terms.
